Sam

Go on then, question me.   I'm Sam, from North Yorkshire. I am a 2nd year architecture student studying at the University of Huddersfield. Up the Boro! Everything I post is my own work unless reblogged or otherwise stated.

Other Blogs:
Creating-spaces.tumblr.com for design inspiration and
Archieado.Tumblr.com for my uni architecture blog.

Enjoy.

I went to the USA Pro Cycling Challenge Prologue in Colorado Springs today and it was incredible. I didn’t even know it was happening until about half a hour before it started so I jumped on the bike and flew downtown as fast as I could. When I Got there I was pretty pleased to see some of the riders that were competing, Andy Schleck(above), his brother Frank, Ivan Basso and Cadel Evans to mention a few.
However for me the highlight of the day was setting the high score on the ‘Cycle Power Challenge’ or something like that. You basically had to ride as fast as you could and see how much power you generated and according to the guy watching over the whole thing I set the highest score and I should consider taking cycling seriously which is reassuring for my fitness levels even if my legs could barely hold me once I got off the bike.
Anyway it was just a cracking day watching some of the worlds finest cyclists race the clock.
