Back in Spain. Trying to persuade my mum to let me build a mini studio/bar/bbq area in the garden next to the pergola thing. She needs to realise it’s her duty as a mother of an architecture student.

How my favourite Juninho cup should be…
This is my group’s proposal at today’s Architecture Charette in Stockport. The concept is a series of ‘floating islands’ that join together to form a pedestrian route from the railway station down to the river Mersey and under the viaduct offering a range of diverse and engaging spaces along the way. All in all it was a belter of a day but really hard work doing a site analysis, concept generating and design development in the space of a few hours. Thoroughly enjoyed getting to work with students from other universities at all different stages of their architectural training. Time for some sleep.

Just saw this then rang my mum telling her that I’m building myself a mini studio in the garden. She hasn’t granted me planning permission yet but I’m confident. Might just have sorted myself a little summer project :)
